Matthew Peña is a singer-songwriter based in Houston, Tx. Though only recently starting to get out and share his original tunes, he has been playing, writing, and creating music for many years. Matt was first introduced to a musical lifestyle by his father, who was the drummer and vocalist in a band for many years.  He took up playing bass at his local church, where his mother also sang. That quickly transitioned into playing acoustic guitar, where he slowly began to write and compose. He then spent a number of years playing alongside an array of inspiring musicians and artists, developing skills and forming his own sound. His hope now is that in sharing his own music, he can move and inspire others.
